On The Teaching Mode Of AP Chinese Language And Culture

Based on the analysis of AP Chinese Course Description, AP Chinese Teacher's guide, and other related materials, in this thesis we analyze the teaching mode of AP Chinese language and culture. As the AP Chinese program is standards-based, at the beginning part of this thesis, we research on the standards for foreign language learning. Then comes the main body of the thesis: research on the teaching mode of AP Chinese. Based on the analysis above, some tentative suggestions on our TCFL and the compiling of AP instructional materials are given. Since the relationship between the AP Chinese course and exam is very tight, in the 5^th part of the thesis we analyze the AP Chinese exam, hoping it will be helpful for the compiling of AP Chinese instructional materials and better understanding of the teaching mode of AP Chinese.
