Sir Vidiadhar Surajprasad Naipaul, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature 2001, is one important representative of transmigrant writers in ex-colony. He is one of the indentured servants' offsprings abroad, then migrate England. He has wide view of literature because of his special identity and experience.The colonized writing in his works shows an abundant world of colonialism, and makes the coved history open to us. With humaneness Naipaul writes transmigrant offsprings' state of life in colony , as an offspring of Indian transmigrants in ex-colony.Experiencing his margin-to-center pilgrim in life, he figures many margin persons in his works. He writes their state of life , and their pursuance, pang, facetiosity, suffering, disadvantage and so on. The author deeply presents outsiders, puzzled by two cultures, who are suffering from the agony, homelessness and rootlessness.The writing of margin pipsqueaks' heart is very deep.The heart world of colonized persons is always covered by the chiffon of history .Naipaul removes chiffon of history, and makes more abundant world open to us. As one of colonized persons .Naipaul' spiritual experience is representative and profound.Chapter one "aftereffect of colonialism" .mainly discourses upon the afereffct that colonialism has produced on three aspacts.
