Research On Influence Of Affect On Second Language Acquisition

'Affect'has been a very much---concerned topic in second language acquisition for the past three decades and it is argued that'affect'plays an important role in second language learning. Many experts have done a lot of research around it and made contributions to it.With the development of society, many subjects have overlapped each other, and this provides fruitful theoretical bases for the Research of Influence of Affect on Second Language Acquisition(SLA).'Affect'is very important for second language acquisition just because it has its own functions. Especially, it has positive or negative influence on learners. This paper aims to not only analyze some affective factors closed related to the second language learners, but also combine the theories with second language practice. Meanwhile, some suggested methods have been provided.To support the paper, a questionnaire about'Affect'such as attitude, anxiety and motivation and a practical survey about autonomous listening were administered to 108 students in Grade 2004, at Jilin Agricultural University .Although'Affect'is not the most important element for learners, it is indispensable indeed. Therefore, it's significant to take learners'affect into account in second language acquisition.
