Relations Of India's Federal Government And State Government

India's federalism which operated in the frame of India's parliamentarism was adaptive to India's complicated situations and surroundings in 1947.India's Constitution prescribes the legislative, executive and financial relations of federal government and state governments. There have been four stages for their relations since India won its independence. Generally the policies of Indian federal government which were dynamic and suitable dominated the well-going relations of the federal government and the states although there were many contradictions even fierce conflicts. The frame of federalism, the stable and flexible relations of the federal government and the state governments have committed greatly to the development of Indian economy and society.
