Obsessive-compulsive symptoms are highly-occurred mental problems among undergraduates. At present, most researches of obsessive-compulsive symptoms are mainly focused on the clinical community. However, specific studies on the non-clinical community of undergraduates are much less carried out. By means of investigation with questionnaires and interview of individuals, the characteristics of obsessive-compulsive special for undergraduates were analyzed and discussed in this research. Meanwhile, the correlations between defense mechanisms and obsessive-compulsive symptoms of undergraduates were further investigated. The results, on both theoretical and practical levels, supplied some meaningful references in sense of the mental health education of undergraduates as well as the prevention and improvement of obsessive-compulsive symptoms of this special group.In this study, the approach of questionnaires was employed to investigate the obsessive-compulsive symptoms of undergraduates and the defense mechanisms, based on an Obsessive-Compulsive Symptoms Questionnaire of Undergraduates (OCSQU) which was first designed by ourselves according to the reported investigations and the interviews of the symptom individuals.
