In recent years, the mental health of university students has been paied more and moreattention of society in general, obsessive-compulsive symptoms is on top of students’psychological problems.The purpose of this study is developing the Parenting Style Questionnaire andPerfectionism Questionnaire, to survey parenting styles, perfectionism andobsessive-compulsive symptoms of university students, exploring implicit perfectionist ofcollege students with the implicit association test, and constructing influenting factorsmodel of obsessive-compulsive symptoms.The study, randomly tested200full-time university students in Soochow Universityby self-plaited Parenting Style Questionnaire, self-plaited Perfectionism Questionnaire andObsessive-Compulsive Symptoms Questionnaire. The results showed that:(1) Self-plaited Parenting Style Questionnaire and self-plaited PerfectionismQuestionnaire are good in reliability and validity.(2) Most of methods of parenting style is the emotional communication andencouragement, students parenting styles with different demographic variables reportedsignificant differences on emotional communication, control interference, encouragedemocracy and deny.(3) The perfectionism is on the upper level, students perfectionism with differentgrades reported significant differences, gender and grade have interaction in theperfectionism.(4)The obsessive-compulsive symptom level is not high, ideal, studentsObsessive-compulsive symptom in different college reported significant differences.(5)There are implicit perfectionism in university students.(6)Implicit perfectionism in different grades or whether the only child backgroundreported significant differences, grades and whether the only child have interaction in theimplicit perfectionism. (7) Implicit Perfectionism and explicit perfectionism are independent from each other.(8)Explicit perfectionism act as an intermediary between methods andObsessive-compulsive symptom, Implicit perfectionism is not significantly correlated withobsessive-compulsive symptoms of university students.
