It embodied an abundance indication of culture both in the progress of writer' s writing and readers' reading. So I have not noly take Huangrong as an image to study but also take it as a "female signifier" to do some cultural exploration. This treatise is starting from the opinions of readers and critics. By close reading we can see that the image of Huangrong have been divided into two aspects: the first one is a sudden change from a selfish girl to a considerate woman, the second one is a return from a malcontent to a good mother. But in this progress we can find enough proof to attest the change is real or unreal. After that I resolute the reason of the image of Huangrong' s split from the writer' s writing. Because of the writer' s contradiction of the selection of commerce' s vantage and art' s value, when the collide by writer' s old thinking of male and new modern female has happened we can see a strange image of Huangrong. At last, starting from the different acceptance of Huangrong by common reader, and we can find that this splitting image not only affect the acceptance of reader but also animate the reader put more attention on it. But many specialized researchers have ignored to analysis this image. And for it, I have done some thinking about the critic system of material literature. To do this is abundance in revealing the cultural implication of Huangrong. But the most important thing is that martial culture' s text is a new way to do some cultural study.
