As more and more attention is drawn to the native music education, people put more effort into the research on the theory of the national piano education. However, most of the present researches just call for more attention, lack of reflections from multiple perspectives as ideology, teaching material system, methodology, curriculum standard, especially lack of the research on teaching material system and curriculum design in the Chinese national piano education. This thesis tries to examine the piano education from the aspect of nationalization and to discuss how to strengthen the ethnic content during the piano education.As to the situation that the Chinese national piano education facing now is the insufficient expressiveness of the piano learners, lack of knowledge of ethnic culture and lack of ethnic teaching material and curriculum, the author puts forward the following proposals: firstly, both the Chinese piano educators and learners should consciously build up and carry forward ethnic spirit from the aspect of ideology;secondly, not only should we try to collect, categorize the Chinese piano works and make a systematic, normative, full-fledged database of the Chinese teaching material out of them, which can be applied to the nationwide piano education widely and substantively, but also to add more elements to the existing national music curriculum, such as, native Chinese piano techniques and skillstraining contents, to set up national standard of techniques, to open courses on the national piano theory and to establish the teaching resource system for the Chinese national piano education. Therefore, the contents of the thesis include the following three parts.The first part explores the reason why the concept of the Chinese national piano education is put forward, which falls into two parts. One is to discuss the definition of the Chinese national piano education and the anther is the meaning of its research. The second part is to analyze the present situation of the Chinese national piano education through "The Survey of the Status of Chinese Piano Works Study" , which falls into three parts. One is to explain the present situation of this Survey, another is to analyze the reason from the perspectives of history, education, playing techniques and curriculum, explores the reason why it lacks attention to Chinese national piano education and how to solve the problem, The other is to summary the survey and set forth some personal thoughts . The three part researches on the solution of the Chinese national piano education, which put forward the design and method to solve the problem based on the personal thoughts and measures to take.
