Research On Social Security System In Early Qing Dynasty

Qing dynasty enact rules about famine relief, provide for the aged, foster children, help widow and childless and society power take part in the social security actively at same time. The measure of social security is systemic and all-round get some definite effect under the corporate endeavor of nation and society. In other words, the social security of Qing dynasty reaches to the zenith of feudalism society. The thesis divided into four parts which mainly explain social security of former period, from Shunzhi, Kangxi to Qianlong, Jiaqing. One reason is easy to collect the information, other is impact the implement of social security in latter period because of the society turbulence, production wreck, national power decline.Part one: It introduces the famine and put up the famine rule which including prevent the famine and relief of famine.Part two: It introduces the policy of social security from the help for older, the poor, widow;the official welfare, the military compensation.Part three: It expounds the magnificent achievement in civilian collaboration and the civilian beneficence which is voluntary action totally different from the government action.Part four: It make a appraisement of the social security and point to the features and limitation to refer to the modern people.This article tries to study the practice effect of the social security to refer to modern social security.
