MuDan is the most important poet of nine-leaf poetry school, and one of the most important poets in Chinese new-poetry history. From the day when he began to be known in 1940's, he has been taking part in constructing Chinese new-poetry with his devotion, his talent and his heart. MuDan's life is full of pain and misery, however he never yielded to it. With his outstanding sensitivity and bearing, he presented a poet's breadth of mind and grand personality. This essay analyzes and discovers MuDan's poetry creation in his golden years on the base of his personality and quality, discusses the poet's great personality and the high quality of his poems The first part talks about the sentiment of his poems, the feelings in his poems of his golden years. It discusses how the poet expressed the pursuit, the value of life. The second part discusses the art of the poems. It compares his works of this period with his early works in order to trace the development of his creation. The writer emphasizes the language and the image with the purpose of analyzing the inheritance, development and limitation of these poems in this period. The third part studies the poetic aesthetics. By comparing with his early works, the writer discovers the aesthetic styles in the works of his golden years.
