It is a new epoch of reading pictures now. All kinds of illustration have overcome the important position of books, newspaper and magazine gradually; packing of many kinds of daily commodity are attached by fancy pictures; lively images of cartoon roles, network games roles and cartoon mascots are flourishing in the life of the people; bookstalls fill with innumerable calendaries, greeting cards, post cards, cartoons and serial pictures.Painting commercialized has become a main tide. However, is the tide a passer-by on the stage of history? How large developmental space does it have in China? To these problems, the paper discusses the developmental space of commercial graphic in china through applying the basic principles and methods of economy, artistic esthetics, and painting, then, got some tentative conclusions: the market of commercial graphic would be developed by the macro-economy of China; commercial graphic would be supplied with favorable conditions by society culture environments and with essential inhere conditions by excellent Chinese painting technique and modern painting technique. At the same time, because of country polices, historical causes and territorial diversity, commercial graphic would have some challenges. The above researching conclusions indicate that commercial graphic would have comparatively large developmental space in the economical, cultural and science technology environments in China.
