On Web Interface Design And Its Discipline Relevance Research

As the most important means of communication, the net is focused on much more attention. Along with that, a new kind of design subject-Web Interface Design, closely connected with the net, becomes possible. Through analyzing the content and some relative factors of Web Interface Design, this thesis attempts to explore the theory of it and provide some effective principles to its practice.From several perspectives, such as Artistic design study, cognitive psychology, and design sociology, this thesis hopes to pave the way to the rational space of Web Interface Design by giving a survey to the specific characteristics it. Beginning with concepts of Web Interface Design, the author firstly reviews its historic development and achievements, and recognizes that Web Interface Design is almost limited in skills with the lack of theory studies, though it attracts more attention now. Web Interface Design is the continuum of Human-Computer Interface and has great relation with the development of computer, such as graphics design, information transport and browser, based on which, chapter three focuses on that. Chapter four and Chapter five are the emphasis of this thesis, which illustrates some means applied in Web Interface Design from idea, generalize three main principles and raise the idea, and summary analysis each kind of type homepage contact Interface Design tendency. All thesediscussions are hopeful to obtain the deep comprehension of designers and popularize it to other design fields. The last chapter studies the contribution of Web Interface Design to Art Design, and aims at complying with the requirement of times, launching the reformation in multi-media art design, and meeting the serious challenge vigorously.
