Innovation, not a new word, is being used more and more frequently in oursociety. It means creation and bring forth new ideas, and the present concern ofinnovation states that people become aware of its importance and the times call for it.Innovation is related to creation while they are different. The study concerningcreation has developed very well, which has reference significance for the study ofinnovation.Arts innovation is one unignorable aspect as well as one most active factoramong various innovation, which can be realized, such as in the field of technology,education, thoughts and management. In this thesis, the writer tries to illustrate itssignificance to the development of Chinese arts and Chinese culture, and analyse itsimportance, premised with the review of Ming and Qing arts from 14 century to 20century.Being the final stage of Chinese feudalism society, Ming Dynasty and QingDynasty is viewed as falling, declining, and unmatchable with the prosperous TangDynasty and Song Dynasty. With the recognition of that fact, the writer tries to showanother fact: during that period there is quite a number of arts innovation sparklesilluminating the whole period arts, which thus have a far-reaching influence. Withground reference to the documents and materials, this thesis classifies and analysesthe typical innovation sparkles of that period, and get a final conclusion to use thepast to allude to the present, giving the writer's response to the topic concerning therelationship between Chinese arts development and Chinese arts innovation.
