The Anxiety Of Ego

This thesis analyzes Shi Zhecun's novels from the anxiety of ego, and it shows this special existent sight that the ego's personality is presented. In the introduction it discusses such ego's quality, which is the independent part and the core existence of personality structure, and it agrees with "anxiety" in existence. The anxiety is a conflicted consciousness of this structure, and it is produced from the entire threaten of ego, the ego is always suffering the anxiety. The whole thesis consists of three parts:The first part is emphasizing on the surface layer existent predicament of this ego in Shi's novels. There are two kinds of disobliges ,the first one is that the ego is split into the fake ego and the inner ego which can be split again, the second one is that the ego is split between the realism and the ideality.The second part is emphasizing on the deep-seated existent predicament that is anxious, and it is the cause of this split. Once the anxiety happened suddenly and continuously , the ego will feel profoundly and experience this disoblige. So anxiety is the springhead of self-split , and it is also the deed motivation of the action. We can divide this anxiety into three types: anxiety of moral, spirital and ontic.The third part is emphasizing on the special existence that the anxious ego maintains. One hand the ego sets into "heart" and has a fine review in it, on the other hand the ego gets hold of the whole shoot deadly which can be grappled for the security of the existence, even impacts or destroys the other's personality and so on.The remaining part is emphasizing on the distinctive character of the anxiety. These experiences are also the writer's experiences, so this anxiety is a crevice and exile pungency when the ego stands between the tradition culture and the modern culture, the city culture and the country culture , the artery culture and the brink culture.
