The Great Chinese Dictionary (short to Dictionary below) is a very great works that contains the ancient and the modern Chinese words and phrases together. Experts pay much attention on the content words in the Dictionary. They correct, pick up and make up more about them. however, less attention is paid to the mistakes on the function words, especially on prepersa-tions. becouse of the prepersation's importance in the history of the Chinese grammer and the grammer itself, we consider it necessary to do a new systematic rearrange and correction to the history background and situation of the prepersations in the Dictionary. This thesis choose 140 monosyllable prepersations as the research target. In the aspect of glosseme, there are some problems mainly on misseparation, misdefination and misusing of the part of speed. The thesis adds the lost usages to such monosyllable prepersations as"yu, ji, yong, yi, yu, zai, dui, yin, cong, chong, ru, ba, yu, you, dang, zi, zhe, dai". It analyses the situation and supplements the usage of "qian, yin, wang, jin, zhong, yue, dao, yi, ying". Such prepersations as "yong, zai, zuo, zhi, zi, yue"ought to separate in some glossemes. But they don't. So the thesis distinguishes the situation andsets up separate glosseme. Based on the situation of unconbination of "yuan, zhong", it gives the analysis and combines the same aspects. Also, the article analyses the mistakes of the glosseme of "bi, wei (2nd tone), xiang, lin"and gives some suggestions. Because of the improper explanations to "yong, ti, wei (2nd tone), yu", the paper does some correction. On the formal examples, the thesis thinks it out of date to use the instances of "yong, xiang, yin, cong, tou, ba, wei (2nd tone) wang, yu, jiang, you,zi". Based on the former experts'researches, it gives more examples to the usage of"yong, ji, he, dang, zhe (2nd tone), dai". Also, it deals with some improper situation of "xiang, yin, zi". On the aspect of marker, there exists two problems in Dictioary. First, the technical terms do not agree. Second, the arrange orders of word type do not agree. The thesis analyses them and gives suggestions. The author gives self opinions of such aspects as that listed above. The purpose is to supply some theories for the editors and readers and to make a reference for next printiry. |
