| This paper introduces the Cuban-Americans who entered the United Sates from1959 to 1994, analyses their location, enclave economy, and their current situation of integration; discusses the mode of their integration and their ethnic identity, and also compares with Algerian who is the largest immigrants in France. Finally, the paper summarizes the reason that causes the different result of integration between the United States and France. It begins with a brief introduction, describing the basic content and the significance of studying the integration of Cuban-American, introducing the historical studies in Chinese and America academic communities, outlining the framework, methodology and defining the main conceptions. Part â…£ analyses the integration of Algerians in France, and compares with Cuban-Americans from such aspects as the background, main body of immigrants and receiving countries ,discusses the reasons that causes the different results of their integration in France and the United States. On the one hand, there is big difference in the immigration policy, the way of reception immigrants and the social living environment of immigrants between two countries. On the other hand, the integration is influenced deeply by two immigrations' economy level, culture, religion and living ways. The last part is conclusion, which discusses the effect and difference of two governments in dealing with the integration of immigrants. |
