Directed by historical and dialectic materialism, this thesis aims to have a systematicanalysis on Song Meiling's sayings and doings during the period from 1930s to 1950s on thebasis of full understanding of her growth, political career and social background at that timeso as to discuss the construct and characteristics of Chinese and Western cultural views andexplain why this conceptual construct is inevitable in history.
