Looking at all of his works, it is easy to find that mostly they are words of "life consciousness" and an unexhausted exploration of "the meaning of life". From the philosophic point of view , he use his literary wise to think about the eternal ultimate issue, death, and to discover the meaning of life . In Shi Tiesheng's works there are so many disabled persons and they have composed a special theme of deformity which is related to his own life. According to the process of his production, his works can be devided into two parts, earlier stage works with deformity theme and later stage works with deformity theme. Most of his earlier works reflected his care about reality, so they are serious, oppressive, and painful. Just because Mr. Shi was disabled, he pays so much attention on fate and get a special attitude towards fate. In his view, fate is unpredictable and uncontrollable, and we can only correct our attitudes to know it, to accept the reality, and to realize our value during the process of strugglingwith reality, never running into the wrong path of nihilism. What supports us to struggle with fate? It is the special religious spirit of owned by human beings.
