The religious belief narrative in novels is identical to suffering narrative, the revolution narrative and the family narrative, which are all belong to the category of subject narrative. In the new era, the emergence of a number of writers who are represented by Shi Tiesheng, Beicun and Zhang Chengzhi makes religious belief narrative get on to a new step.Shi Tiesheng, who has a quality of silence, wisdom and non-publicity, is one of the most philosophical authors in the contemporary Chinese literary circles. His works is full of richly and deeply philosophical sense. Taking the analysis to his works as a point of view, this thesis tries to analyze Shi Tiesheng's religious belief narrative and get a deeper and special understanding and explanation. In a period when there is a vast nihilism, Shi Tiesheng, taking his own disability experience as a mirror, thinks over the fate of the disabled and even the whole human's. At last, Shi Tiesheng realizes that clearly, when he is faced with wide and permanent predicament in his life, one should surpass it to cast off it and finally enjoy the life. So, he finds the "religious belief"—a kind of never-giving-up and persistent belief. The so-called "religious belief is a beneficial support for fighting against nihilism and overcoming the troubles, while his "Processing Philosophy" becomes the significance of life. His special recognition to belief and his processing philosophy, which give us deep enlightenment, lead to his particular meaning in the literature history.
