| The song of Ch'in, a rather peculiar kind of poem in the The poetical Collection of Yuefu.Guo maoqian, in the preface of The poetical Collection of Yuefu, has said : "The music of ancient Chinese Lute has FiveQu ,NineYin and TwelveCao …from them on,It turn out to be many scribe of the Ch'in song, and we can get to the bottom of meaning of music and its historical sources."It is obvious that,there is a old tradition of Ch'in song in Yuefu. In this paper the author tries to study the music of Ch'in' idea and the art achievement of verses in the poetical Collection of Yuefu in sequence of history. The judgment of the article's author comes from the thorough study of the text itself. The text consists of four chapters. Chapter One is the comment on the verses of ancient Ch'in, which put a far-reaching influence in the history of Yuefu literature. The author tries to find out the imprint of music in these verses and make a correct evaluation of their idea. Chapter Two analyses he poetic style of Ch'in verses in Han dynasty, by comparing it with Chu'ci pattern. They both have deeply relation with the music of south. The author makes a far –reaching investigation into the relation by comparing the metrical structure of Ch'in verses and the Chuck, which served as the text mode of the rhythm of the music. And this is the characteristic of poem which suitable to setting to the music. And the poetic style has significant influence in afterward-literary writing. Chapter three discusses the new change in the structure and the content of the songs of Ch'in North-Dynasty. On the one hand the liberators become the author of Ch'in verses. The dormant very appreciate the landscape. So in this era landscape become the subject of artistic representation. On the other hand, the music of Ch'in has great relation with the popular music in this era. The author considers that the songs of Ch'in absorb the factors of music structure of the new music. And makes a far –reaching investigation into the background of new music. Chapter four explores the songs of Ch'in in tang-dynasty, by detailed analysis of two cases: the song of snow and the song of Wanzhuang. |
