On The Position And Function Of Value Theory In The System Of Marxist Philosophy

Since the middle of 1980's, a great success has been achieved on the value theory. The value theory of dialectical materialism is the important part of Marxist philosophy. The author of this paper contends that the value, which is a vital aspect of the relationship between human being and world, and which is an object that has the meaning of human and human's activity, must be considered and grasped from the overall perspectives of philosophical outlook. The value plays a very important role as a category in the principles of philosophy. It is the important conception for further discussing and understanding the connotation and the essence of thinking of practice philosophy, the philosophical world outlook, materialism and dialectics, theory of knowledge and conception of history. It penetrates organically all parts of philosophy, which is the category with the meaning of universality and essentiality.It has a significant meaning to the study of the position and function of the value theory in the theory of philosophy system. First, it is the need of persisting in and developing of Marxist philosophy. Second, it is the major preparation for promoting Marxist philosophy. Third, it is the important link of achieving the practical guidance of Marxist philosophy.Chapter one introduces the background, reason and significance of the article.
