The dissertation analyses the documents of the GAOCHANG Shire on Sixteen-countries era and GAOCHANG Kingdom that was excavated in TULUFAN, detailedly discusses the system of taxes and corvee, link up the recordation about GAOCHANG in the history. It tries to prove that GAOCHANG had a lot of characteristic system of taxes and corvee of itself, at the same time, it still had preserving the taxes and corvee system of HAN dynasty and JIN dynasty .In the history, GAOCHANG had been ruled by the central government or regime of Chinese. At the beginning, it's system came from the HAN dynasty and JIN dynasty, it had a little change according to it's polity and economy. About the system of taxes and corvee, it took on similitude with central government under the representation of it's miscellaneous scot. It had many similitude in the rent, corvee and the taxes of monastery with the system of HAN dynasty and JIN dynasty, at the same time, it also developed the system according to the characteristic of itself.The change come from the evolvement disciplinarian of the system of taxes and corvee of HAN dynasty and JIN dynasty, on the other side, it is closely linked to the isolated environment of polity and geography of GAOCHANG All of above indicate that GAOCHANG have particular study value as the important embranchment of Chinese history in 4-7 century.
