The end of the Tang Dynasty (from A.D.860 to A.D.907 )is the extraordinarily dark age in the Chinese history. Not only politics,economics and social life ,but also thought and literature had changed remarkably during the period of the end of the Tang Dynasty. For the development and evolution of the literature of that time is more complicated , the author takes Luo Yin,Wei Zhuang and Han Wo as the centre in the dissertation. Through them ,the author studies the thought and writing of the literati of the end of the Tang Dynasty ,describes their tragic destinies in the turbulent days,and then explores some regular questions during the period in which one dynasty replaces the other dynasty.The dissertation is divided into four chapters.Chapter l.the author mainly introduces the social situation and cltural background .and attemps to expore the rough way of their thinking. Chapter 2, the author mainly describes their tragic destinies in the turbulent days. Chapter 3,the author discusses their poetic writing based on poetic theme ,poetic fashion and poetic form ,and analyses the renewal and limitation of their poetic writing. Chapter 4, the author briefly discusses the reception and evaluation of the literature of the end of the Tang Dynasty.
