Tang Dynasty in ancient China is the era of glorious civilization, as the capital of Tang, Chang’an is the largest city in the world at that time. The abundant material wealth and the collision of multicultural, Chang’an created a prominent position, and also created an atmosphere of open character. Chang’an city layout was divided to inner city, Imperial city and outer city.The inner city,as the officials’ workplace, is strictly prohibited and out of the ordinary. Although there are historical records, files, etc,the Secret History, there is a world away from the state and ordinary people. It is the broad outer city(including 108 Square and the East and West cities) constitute the main city of Chang’an.The eastern and western sales market is the commodity trading cities as legal places, of course, contributed to the flow of communication between people, are two important public spaces city of Chang’an.But the point of singularity business practices limits the role of public space. The Square walled be played as one "box", also formed a relatively closed environment. This has prompted researchers to focus on a point, which is less restrictive and people can travel freely.Throughout the outer city of Chang’an, it has Qujiang, apricot orchards and other natural landscape, temples, Taoist and other cultural landscape. These public spaces are places of social and cultural exchanges, and also social life stage performances. Research on these points, especially in their relations with the literature, not only to have a better understanding of Chang’an and literary style, but also can spy on people living in the state, literary ethos, customs, and social life of urban development.The paper chooses Ci’en Temple as a starting point, through a comprehensive sort of existing literature, to show the complete picture of the temple on literature. The content is divided into four chapters :Chapter One: To analysis Ci’en Temple’s geographical environment, internal structure, evolution and Existing physical.Chapter two: Ci’en Temple and the literature with imperial examinations. Ci’en Temple was a place to provide shelter, books, to protect their lives and learning for the majority of people on their way to take exams. After the pass of the examination, the scholar take banquets on Qujiang, hold a meeting in apricot orchards and write their names in Yanta.Chapter three: Ci’en Temple and Buddhist literature. Ci’en Temple is the b irthplace of vijbana-vada, and also a place where Xuanzang do missionary work,has a strong Buddhist heritage. Emperor hanging,eminent monks’ sermonand po ets’ visit,together constitute the rich atmosphere of Buddhist literature.Chapter four: Ci’en Temple and touring literature. Ci’en Temple and holiday travel tours on Qujiang,are both the most prosperous in the Tang Dynasty, in addition to new scholars celebrate feast,the most important are Feasts in Dragon festival,Shangsi Festival,Double Ninth Festival.In addition,Ci’en Temple is good traveled by for poet in the Tang Dynasty,visitors continue from the country throughout the year.
