Anti-Qing Dynasty struggles of Uygurs' in Xinjiang in the period of Tongzhi have always been a hot issue in the history field. As far as the issue is concerned, most of the works and papers in the past held the belief that Anti-Qing Dynasty struggles of Uygurs' in Xinjiang aimed at overthrowing Qing Dynasty, which belonged to the peasant uprising against feudalism. In the author's opinion, with Uygurs' forming at the end of Ming Dynasty and the spreading and development of Sufei Group of Islam Mysticism, national self-management and self-development's requirements gradually came into being between the Uygurs and the reqirements were implemented by the organization Sufei Group, in Xinjiang as the earliest region where Islam was imported. Sufei Group endowed themselves that Uygurs' society had a kind of organizational relationship and realized that the Uygurs' businesses were managed by themselves in some extent. In Qing Dynasty.in order to safeguard and consolidate its governance, the government ignored the rational requirements originated by Uygurs and adopted the suppressing policy, which leads to the national conflict in Xinjiang region and causes anti-Qing struggles by Uygurs and Hui nationality in the period of Tongzhi. In struggle, the people of nationalities made great efforts to strive for the rights of self-development and management and hoped that they achieve this purpose with the help of the holy descendants from Kokand, But Agubo's wrongdoing made their dreams aborted and they suffered from the national suppressing which was fiercer than that Qing Dynasty did. After they realize Agubo's invasion essence, the people of nationalities rised and carried on form struggle with foreign invaders in order to safeguard the national rights and the motherland's unification. Therefore, the aim of Anti-Qing Dynasty struggles of Uygurs' in Xinjiang in the period of Tongzhi in essence is to strive for national autonomous rights and not to object to Qing's governance. On the basis of the understanding of the above, this paper expounds the author's opinion by four aspects such as Uygurs' society in Xinjiang and its development of religious organizations, boundary policies of Qing Government and its contradictions, the nature and aim of anti-Qing Dynasty struggles of Uygurs' in Xinjiang, the impact of anti-Qing Dynasty and so on.
