Xingde Nalan, the number one Ci writer of the early Tshig Dynasty, composed nearly 350 pieces. The anthology of them is named Nalan Ci by people. This essay takes Jiaying Ye's approach---Mr. Ye, the famous overseas scholar, raised "the roused and sensed vitality" as a critical criteria for poetry and Ci- to analyze and comment on Nalan Ci from two principle points: the embodiment and conveyance of "the roused and sensed vitality" and the reverberation caused by it in the society .The splendid vitality sensed by people is roused by human's melancholy thinking before natural scenes. This vitality is expressed in two ways of composing- allusion and composition. The social reverberation caused by it is profound and far-reaching . It not only functioned as a rebell against the fashion of being "loyal" but "empty" in Ci composing, in those days, but also played an active role in the mixing of nationalities inthe special historical period of the beginning of the Tsing Dynasty.
