Haoran is a special character in the contemporary literature history. His representative works SUNNY DAY and GOLDEN ROAD are respectively the writing examples of Seventeen-Year literature and Culture Revolution literature. His dramatic writing life reflects the complications and arduousness in the change of contemporary literature. So to study Haoran's novels aroud the Culture Revolution has special meaning for the special age's literature. Haoran's representative works have a completely narrative pattern. Its main features include: 1. Its narrative grammar, taking class struggle as center, through the comprehensive antagonism between the charecters and surroundings, reflects the dual-factors antagonistic pattern; 2. The introspection and reason the hero's image constituted, and the epical structure, strenghten the historical legitimacy of heroic epic; 3. The image of middle-state people as a force to break up narration is abstracted. Human weakness is replaced by class original sin. The sound of doubt is covered by great class narration; 4. The authority of omniscient utterance is limited. The narrator is stipulated by the authoritative utterance finally. Narration itself becomes a symbol in the system of authoritative utterance. From the narrative features mentioned above,we could know that literatural creation exists in a special way in the enviroment that ideology is intensified unprecedently. Ultimately the artistic persuit of author and the political idea of age come to agreement. Because of that SUNNY DAY and GOLDEN ROAD become the model of age. Therefore the ultra-ideologized literature creation during the Culture Revolution is a continuance of Seventeen-Year literature or former literatural attemption. It's inevitable that this kind of literature reaches its peak during the Culture Revolution.
