On May Fourth Movement's Function To Promote The Unity Of Marxism And The Worker Movement

From the point of view that May Fourth Movement promoted the unity of Marxism and the worker movement, the thesis will analyze the functions of May Fourth Movement in it. So as to expound that Marxism spread' widely in China and becoming the guide ideology of Chinese society was the inevitable result of the development of Chinese social history and the sensible choice made by people who explored hard.The unity of Marxism and the worker movement is the worker movement guided with Marxism, and the socialist revolutionary movement combined by irrelevant Marxism ideological movement and spontaneous worker movement. According to the Marxism classic writer's exposition, we can roughly know that the unity of Marxism and worker movement requires three conditions, that is, ideological premise - - Marxism, material basis - - worker class,communicative bridge-intellectuals. This paper will by three partsexpound the promotive function made by the formation and unity of the three conditions in May Fourth movement.In the first part, by the Chinese people's review toward the process of understanding Marxism before the October Revolution, is to analyze the functions of the October Revolution and May Fourth movement in the process of Chinese people under standing Marxism, expound and prove the fact May Fourth Movement made Marxism become the main stream of the social ideological trend at that time so as to provide ideological premise for unity of Marxism and the worker movement.In the second part, by the review of the development of Chinese worker class and worker movement before May Fourth Movement, is to analyze the functions in the process that May Fourth movement promoted the worker-class consciousness, expound and prove that May Fourth Movement made the worker class go to the historical stage asan independent political force so as to provide material basis for the unity of Marxism and the worker movement. But worker class from spontaneous ness to consciousness needs imbue them with Marxism . May Fourth movement make the intellectuals take part in the worker movement activity, at last the integration of Marxism and worker movement was realized.In the third part, this thesis expounds the characteristics of the founding of the three aspects of thought basis, organization basis and political basis, and then it explains the May Fourth movement's role in the integration of Marxism and worker movement.
