| Wang Zengqi is an important contemporary writer with distinguishing feature in China. In the field of studying his works, researchers mainly analyze them at a single angle of view. But this paper tries to refuse to follow this pattern and seek Truth, Virtue and Beauty reflecting in his novels from the double angles of view of survival and poetry.In order to state this idea in detail, it deals with three parts:1 .Brightness--the survival conditions without concealing. Wang Zengqi'novels,on the one hand, state the idle and embarrassing living condition of some specific and related people, who are keeping watch and having gun in difficulty, on the other hand ,his novels enable us to see the basic choice of human beings: the free living condition . Through his novels , Wang Zengqi is appealing for human beings' basic and true state, calling on people to transcend themselves when they reach the limit. In order to find and realize who they are, they have to overstep themselves in the limited and changing society.2.Beauty implication under the care of poetry. Wang Zengqi's novels contain poetic quality, which can be seen through three chapters: firstly, the poem like artistic conception, then ,nature ,customs and lyrics, finally, the aesthetic writing style.3.Poetic illustration of survival experience. Wang Zengqi show us the miserable living experience in artistic form. The miserable life is combined with poetic dream in his novels, which results in the combination of truth and beauty. His novels are inclined to delineate people's true living condition. They are filled with sympathy and caring for the human beings.In the end, it points out his novels have kept a promise of a new literature direction, that is, the highly combination between concerning survival and seeking arts. His artistic creation enlightens the Chinese Literature which lacks in the appreciation of beauty.
