The thesis takes the phenomenon of "communication between literature and painting" in Wang Zengqi’s novels as the object of study.By sorting out Wang Zengqi’s creative thoughts,interpreting them in relation to typical texts,and summarizing the different textual forms presented by white space,local color,and poetic language from the perspectives of traditional painting and calligraphy,modern art,and folklore,the thesis highlights the value of "communication between literature and painting" in Wang Zengqi’s novels and enriches the study of Wang Zengqi’s novels.The study of Wang Zengqi’s novels will enriched by the value of "communication between literature and painting".This thesis consists of five parts: introduction,four chapters and conclusion,the introduction defines the concept of “communication between literature and painting”,which clarifies the current situation of the research on "communication between literature and painting" and Wang Zengqi’s novels,and specifies the research ideas of this paper.The first chapter mainly demonstrates the generation of Wang Zengqi’s thought of "communication between literature and painting" in his novels.This chapter explores the causes of Wang Zengqi’s novels "communication between literature and painting" from the historical origin of "communication between literature and painting" and the ideological trend of China Art literature in the 20 th century.Wang Zengqi’s "communication between literature and painting" in his novels not only inherits the traditional concept of "the unity of poetry and painting," but also is the writer’s conscious innovation under the influence of Western painting.The second chapter mainly demonstrates the concrete presentation of Wang Zengqi’s thought of "communication between literature and painting" in the novel text.This chapter analyzes the role of Wang Zengqi’s painter-based content,layout and expression techniques in the innovation of novel skills by reading the text carefully.The writer sublimates the creative feeling into an aesthetic emotion,punctuating the story with dynamic still lifes,painted preface and postscript and memory drawings that convey a more inner literary meaning to the reader.The third chapter mainly demonstrates the ideological nature of Wang Zengqi’s novels.Wang Zengqi’s "communication between literature and painting" not only has the superficial "beauty of painting," but also has the "poetic beauty" containing the thoughts of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism.It is through the thought of "communication between literature and painting," Wang Zengqi deeply explores the human nature rich in the power of primitive life,and creates rich humanistic details in his novels.The fourth chapter mainly demonstrates the significance of Wang Zengqi’s novels "communication between literature and painting." The idea of painting extends Wang Zengqi’s way of literary practice and inner thought,demonstrating the organic connection of multiple connotations such as regional characteristics,traditional features and modernity in the novel."Literature" and "painting" show a mutual relationship,enrich the text’s audio-visual synaesthesia,and make a successful exploration for "cross-border creation" and novel modernization.The conclusion summarizes the research value of the phenomenon of "communication between literature and painting" in Wang Zengqi’s novels.
