On Linguistic Art Of Block's Poetry

The dissertation focuses on analyzing the Linguistic art of Russian symbolist Block's poetry from the angel of Pragmatic theory in order to reveal his position, characteristics and ways of poetic language.Block(1880-1921) is a great poet in the Silver Period of Russian literature and the most outstanding representative of Russian Symbolism as a famous lyricist. Under the influence of Soloviev who was a famous Russian religious philosopher, thinker and poet Block worshiped the Eternal Womankind, got drunk in "Mental world" and explored his extricating from the dense fog of life. He sang Women and love. The primary theme of his collection of poems "Beautiful Woman" lies in that love is a mixed feeling from the poet's own spirit and romanticism. In the casting of the poetic language Block formed a individual linguistic art which shows the unique charm.After perennial quiet the Symbolism becomes a study's craze. There are many works and papers about it. But (1) they stay in the old ways that study no form but content. (2) Their focuses remain at the common study of art and material compilation. (3) There is litter works on poetic language.Literary criticism and linguistic scholars do not together study the art and forms of poetic language. It explains that the Literary criticism does not want to survey the beauty of poetic lartguage and linguistic scholars do not pay close attention to literary works.The paper contains five chapters.The Introduction briefly discusses Block's poetry and their study's status quo and raised the theory sense, social value, study's ways and focus of our paper.The first chapter analyses the poetic naming of the Eternal Womankind and Block's philosophy of the Eternal Womankind because the Eternal Womankind is his poetic theme.The Second analyses the tasteful casting of the poetic images in order to raisehis individual ways of observation and expression of the World profound mystery and rich meanings symbols.The Third analyses Block's individual linguistic coding. This is his famous poetic linguistic art. There is concrete analysis of his written words, grammar structures and pragmatic choice.The Fourth analyses Block's strong forging of poem-linguistic melody, his favoritism of poem-linguistic music as a symbolist-poet, and the music characteristics of his poetic language.The paper's conclusion summarizes the characteristics of his poetic linguistic art, using these experiences for reference of studying Chinese poetry and the interrelated questions not yet studied.
