Poetry chanting things is one of the most ancient Chinese verse. This thesis researches poetry chanting things of the Tang dynasty. It analyzes the proceeding of development of object-chanting poetry of the Tang dynasty .At first ,this thesis defines conception what is poetry chanting things .some poems can be regards as poetry chanting things, Others can not be.Second , in order to understand syllabify the style and features of poetry chanting things of the Tang dynasty ,it runs back over the general picture of poetry chanting things in pre-Tang dynasty .Object-chanting poetry of the tang dynasty can be divided into leisurable object-chanting poetry and allegoric object-chanting poetry . leisurabie object-chanting poetry is a sort of poetry which expresses pleasurable mood and pleasurable spirit. Allegoric object-chanting poetry can be divided into two categories : poetry conveying intent and poetry conveying feeling. Besides, poetry conveying intent can be divided into poetry of principles surpassed feeling and poetry feeling surpassed principles. Poetry conveying feeling can also be taken part in two categories : one is poetry which introject object and poet ,the other is poetry which poet enters not only into artistic bourn but also walks out from it . This thesis makes use of these methods to discuss development track of poetry chanting things of the Tang dynasty .This thesis uses era as a horizontal line to discuss the process of object'chanting things of the Tang dynasty . Besides, it uses poetry conveying intent and poetry conveying feeling as a vertical line to discuss the style and features of poetry chanting things of Tang dynasty, at the same time ,to overlook life consciousness in poetry chanting things of the Tang dynasty.
