Bartok, Bela, Hungarian Composer, is one of the most excellent composers in the 20th.His greatest achievement is combining the folk melody of Hungary with modern composing skill and technique ,forming a personal style and musical language and creating "the new musical art" of Hungary.Bartok's creation experience of music can be divided into three important periods: exploration period(1906--1919),muture period(1920- 1940),and peak period(1940~1945). Among his three piano concerts, " the first piano concert", and "the second piano concerf'are the representative works in the muture period, and "the third piano concert" is the best works in the peak period. All of these three piano concerts fully reflect his personal musical language. This paper will discuss it from the following aspects. The first :elaborate the composing background and characters of his three piano concerts. The second: relatively carefully and fully analyze and study the three piano concerts from the musical form and harmony aspects. This is the central part of the paper. And present to his composing characters of music from the characters of musical form (arch form structure, golden section, centralized principle), and mode-chromaticism as well as characteristic harmony sound. At the same time, combining the compansion and analysis to his three different composing period, not only makes us get a deeper understanding to the three works, but also let us see his persistent creation thought of music.
