We must by no means ignore the function of the cooperation between schools and families in psychological health education. In practice, it's a duty-bound obligation of schools to develop psychological health education and improve the quality of home education through the cooperation between schools and families; and it's a major factor to evaluate whether psychological health education is successful as well.At present the function of the cooperation between schools and families is being paid attention to, but many studies in this field only mention it, and give no deep discussion. Therefore, to realize the necessity and feasibility of the cooperation and inquire into its aim, contents, ways and mode of implementing will be an important directive significance and value for application to the practice of psychological health education. To a large extent, it's no use discussing the validity of psychological health education without the cooperation between schools and families.By providing questionnaires, holding forums, consulting documents, studying cases, tracing the history, summarizing experience and so on, this thesis has made a deep analysis to the existing problems of psychological health education in the present primary schools as follows:1. Teachers and parents have great deviations in understanding the cooperation between schools and families.2.The aim of the health education is still vague in practice.3.The activities are simplified and lack pertinence; what's more, they rely mainly on schools, lacking the interaction between schools and families.4. At present psychological teachers are in great need; and in addition, the skills and abilities of most psychological teachers remain to be improved.5. Most schools have not formed an omni-directional system of psychological health education.In the light of the problems mentioned above, the thesis makes a valuable inquiry into the aim, contents, ways and mode of implementing of the health education; and after using successful experiences from home and abroad for reference, the writer puts forward the corresponding countermeasures as follows:1. The idea of the cooperation should be placed greater emphasis on.2. The cooperation should be included in the working system of psychological health education.3. The corresponding coordination organization should be set up.4. The schools for parents should play a chief role and the institution of the joint activities should be formed.5. Regional progress of psychological health education can be promoted through leading schools.6. Developing community education should be considered as a powerful security of the cooperation .7. Teachers should be trained in various aspects.In a word, exploring psychological education through the cooperation between schools and families will be an effective way to optimize psychological health education of schools.
