| While modem Chinese art seeks for the theoretical development and breakthroughs, all the people, either consciously or unconsciously,will rec-call a name --Zong Bai-hua , reflecting upon Mr. Zong's broad mind his p-rofound spiritual insight into Chinese art ,as well as his perfect personality achieved throught art & aesthetics .More than seven-decade art career sees Mr. Zong base his thoughts upon China's reality .He absorbed the nutrition in western culture with purpose of "making use for ourselves " and made g-reat efforts to expand the cream of Chinese national culture, thus made gre-at contribution to the theoretical research on Chinese art.This dissertation which falls into four parts, significant contribution o-f Zong Bai-hua to Chinese art .The first part is a general introduction to art-istic mood. The second part concerns with the two great discoveries Zong Bai-hua has made in Chinese art ,i.e: the two types of traditional Chinese "a-rtistic beauty" and "integration between time and space" rhymically and m-usically.The third part touches on dance, the musical intelligenc of traditi-onal Chinese art. The last part summaries Zong Bai-hua's artistic outlook on life. |
