| Since Ming and Qing dynasty,As the main water source of living ,the well was an important living fundation and public falicity.In the traditional agriculture society of "living by plough field and drinking by dig well", it had been formed a distinctive well system and well organization in the region, involving digging,using,managing and offering sacrifices to deities etc.Because the well played an important role in the village ,the village affairs except the well affairs were drawn into the well system and organiziation,so it shew the concentrative character.The well organization was the button between the nation and country society ,it was the reflection of the political power in the traditional culture of country society .The thesis tries to discrible the country village life in the south of Shanxi province since Ming and Qing dynasty from the angle of Social History. |
