Islamic domestication into Chinese culture means that Islam, being melting actively into Chinese culture, draws some beneficial facts, remoulds these facts, and maintains its inherent religious belief, religious rites and its immanent value while interacts with Chinese society during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. During this time, it reflects some characteristics of adapting to Chinese social circumstances to make a good prospect, performing different contents and forms from its origin, presenting the distinctive Chinese features and styles. Based on the former studies, this thesis is combined the written materials with inscriptions on tablets and tombstones, corroborated the classic arguments of the Muslim scholars with the understanding of common people. This thesis finds that Islam adapts wholly to Chinese culture while keeps its own properties unchanged as a prerequisite. This paper is composed of the following parts: the causes andbackground, the ways and models of performance, the characteristics, the far-reaching affects and reaction about Islamic domestication into Chinese culture.
