Wang Ji was the important poet of the early Tang Dynasty, occupying the important status in the literature history in the Tang Dynasty. At present, the study on Wang Ji of the academia has already deepened very much, for example the textual research of the year of life and death, research of his life, arrangement of collected works, the study of his thought and poems, have all made the achievement attracting people's attention, especially after reappeared at five -volume the end of the 1970s, making the study of Wang Ji attain a new height. But as to Wang Ji being an official for three times and being an hermit for three times, the academia have not paid close attention to it, and the discussion still have not deepen enough to the reason. In view of this, this article plans to explain from the live angle to show the true feature of his surviving.The dissertation contains 4 parts.First, current situation of study on Wang Ji. The author briefly prove to this from three respects. In first respect, current situation of research of his life and arrangement of collected works .The author thinks that Wang Ji should be born in A.D. 590 and die in A.D. 644. In second respect, current situation of study on Wang Ji's thought. The author holds the idea that Wang Ji was affected by Zhuang Zi, especially his philosophy of life. In third respect, current situation of study on poems. The author thinks that Wang Ji's poems contained indignation and loneliness, and it is different from the calmness of Tao Yuan ming's poem.Second, realistic origin of Wang Ji's unique life style. The author still describes it from three respects. In first respect, Wang Tong's impact on Wang Ji. The author thinks Wang Tong exerted an influence on Wang Ji in motive and condition in seclusion ofliving. In second respect, the hermit-Zhong Chang Zi Guang's impact on Wang Ji.This mainly reflected in concrete way and content in seclusion of living. In third respect, the author has simply described the impacts on Wang Ji of others, Chu shi(recluse) and Taoist priest.Third, ideological roots of Wang Ji's unique life style. The author also explicates it from three respects. In first respect, by comparing between Wang Ji's poets and proses and Zhuang Zi's, it proves Wang Ji was really affected by the thought of Zhuang Zi. In addition, judging from the time when Wang Ji's poet and prose werecreated, the author thinks Wang Ji was affected by Zhuang Zi in young period. The second respect is the summary of the thought of philosophy of life of Zhuang Zi. The author thinks the key problem probed into by Zhuang Zi is how to solve people's existence problem. He refused the social and historic character of people, and attempted to retract people in time world, through "observe", "change" to realizecombination with "taoist". Besides, Zhuang Zi proposed the other two propositions-"self-satisfied", " contented", emphasized the experience to one's own meaning of the life and value needn't any help from the external world. Have described the impact on Wang Ji of thought of philosophy of life of Zhuang Zi in third respect. Wang Ji also denied social, historical value of people equally, cut off the connection with societyconsciously, and carried out the existence principle-"self-satisfaction", stilldemonstrated one's own characteristic at the same time, namely similar with the demeanor of Wei Jin Dynasty in external aspect and regard this as" sage" ideal way. Meanwhile he regarded wine as the media to peak, and fatherly realized" carefree" in his ideal.Fourth, display form of Wang Ji's unique life style. Judging from the words-loneliness and self in his poems and proses and topics of poems and proses, the author thinks loneliness is the display form of unique life style. It has four reasons on the whole. First, the influence of the idea " loneliness " of Zhuang Zi. But they are different.
