| In the 11 th year of the Emperor Chongzhen's reign in the Ming Dynasty, according to the social problems of the period, the people such as Chen Zilong, Xu Fuyuan, Song Zhengbi, and so on, chose the governing experiences interrelated of all reigns in the Ming Dynasty and compiled Ming Jing-shi Wen-bian, which was to be used as the governor's governing reference.The publication of Ming Jing-shi Wen-bian represented the rise of a kind of compilation form and had significant influences to the later ages. But the historiographers didn't inquire deep into the compilation of Ming Jing-shi Wen-bian, so the thesis tried to choose it as its special research object, inquire into how Chen Zilong and others absorbed the predecessors' experiences of expressing their thought of Jing-shi through the version form, thus created the form of Jing-shi Wen-bian, and on the base of summing up the compilatory characteristics of Ming Jing-shi Wen-bian, analyze further that it wasn't simple collection of the governing documents but the selections of the articles related to the national economy and the people's livelihood according to the social problems of the period.In the aspects of the compilatory thought, the compilatory stylistic rules and layout, the data-selection principles and the concrete contents, Chen Zilong and others compiled Ming Jing-shi Wen-bian referring to the predecessors' Jing-shi historical records .In the aspect of compilatory thought, they inherited the tradition that the predecessors started from the decrees and regulations research in order to get to the aim of helping the nation and chose the decrees and regulations of their own reign as their research object. In the aspect of compilatory stylistic rules and layout, Ming Jing-shi Wen-bian absorbed the Jing-shi historical records compiled by others in the Ming Dynasty more and improved them according to the practical needs. In the aspect of the data-selection principles, they inherited what the predecessors did thoroughly, regarding whether it was beneficial to Jing-shi as the standards of accepting or rejecting the data. According to the contents of the book, on the base of inheriting the contents of the bookscompiled by others in the Ming Dynasty, they increased and decreased them more or less according to the concrete problems of the period.Through Ming Jing-shi Wen-bian, we can conclude its several characteristics as fellows: it put emphasis on its own reign; its scope was very extensive; it was mainly Ge-cheng and zhang-shu. Chen Zilong and other people thought that the emperors in the early Ming Dynasty did much in the aspect of the legislation, every generation producing its men of ability, which was not inferior to the Han and Tang Dynasties, even the Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties. Furthermore, every dynasty had its own legislation and governance, so the officers from the period of Hongwu to the early reign of the Emperor Chongzhen and its main aim was to help the nation resolve the problems at hand. During the process of data-selection and compilation, they collected intensively all kinds of Jing-shi articles and extracted all kinds of views of the same problem. The authors of the articles were all the officers of the Ming Dynasty, mainly Ge-cheng, while the styles of the articles were mainly Zou-shu.The chosen articles of Ming Jing-shi Wen-bian were mainly the Zou-shu of the Ming Dynasty, but Chen Zilong, Xu Fuyuan, Song Zhengbi and others also chose the articles interrelated according to the Jing-shi principles and the specific problems of the period. What they did was not simple collection of the governing documents through the Ming Dynasty. According to the chosen articles' authors, whether choosing someone's article or choosing how much was mainly related to whether his governing experiences were helpful to resolve the social problems of the period.
