Preliminary Study On The Development Of Chinese Film Criticism (2000-2010)

Speaking of the Film Criticism in China today, no one will be optimistic about the response. The continued loss of the right to speak indicates Chinese film critics suffered a lot of difficulties in the New Century. Filmmakers and film audiences lost interest in film criticism. After the decline of professional film critics, the position of the film criticism is also transfer accompanied by the development of the media environment changes. Is it the truth that the Chinese film criticism in the new century is really feels like a backwater.Based on the above problem, this paper will examine the Chinese film criticism in the new century. According to the previous point of view, the first survey of this study is to analyze the film audience and make classification of the film criticism. In the second part of the study, this paper to analyze the development of the Chinese film criticism in the new century flow from the development of the professional film criticism and the transfer of the film criticism platforms with communication, literary criticism, audience psychology and other related disciplines. In the study, a large number of research text and film critics will be analyzed. At the same time, the development of the Western film criticism will be referenced. The text of the tendency of the research is to be classified and summarized. The final paper will make their overall assessment of the development trend of the two levels.
