DV Documentary: The Popularization Narrative Context Creation Which Close To The Life

90s of last century, DV camera came into the lives of ordinary people in China, a group of non-professional creators of documentary record bits and pieces around them arbitrarily. Unintentionally, a popular narrative context of the documentary was born. So a group of"grass-roots shoot off"squeezed in the ivory tower with a new creative method.In the 21st century, with the DV camera technology continues to improve and the Internet, mobile, TV, network platform for the rapid development of video technology, DV creators of the documentary, in addition to peripheral vision in daily life but also to take up and explore the life of a real deep-seated social Problems. They group one after another "story" which not only meet the aesthetic characteristics of the public but also meet the basic language films through simple, vivid, plain narrative style and the pursuit of the truth, life context. Then express their understanding of society and emotional catharsis.However, the research of the creation about documentary mostly concentrated in the professional field of theoretical knowledge of creative documentaries and creative methods, but for the characteristics of DV documentaries, particularly the lack of narrative context and other aspects of surviving, a documentary about the creative advantages of DV, Ways and means as well as future development is worthy of immediate attention and exploration.Therefore, I try to do this research from the viewing of the "producer" of DV documentary, meanwhile putting the attention on the feature of DV documentary, and making a conclusion of how to make a social-value documentary by using the DV. I hope this research can draw a whole perspective of the DV documentary in China, as well as being a reference of DV creation.As to the structure of my dissertation, a review of the development of Chinese DV documentaries is carefully presented in the first chapter; The basic definition and theory is clarified in the second chapter ; The third chapter focuses on the questions about <The stories behind the smiles> In the fourth chapter, I mainly study the advantage of DV documentary creation that combined with the theory and the case <The stories behind the smiles>, in order to analysis the creation principle of DV documentary. The fifth chapter makes a prospect for Chinese DV documentary.
