The Flahadi documentary,"Nanook of the North," first focused human attention on the Arctic,and since then,with the maturity of the Arctic navigational conditions,film and television filming and production technology innovation,Arctic ecology,Arctic flora and fauna,More and more arctic stories,such as Arctic aborigines,appear in front of viewers in the form of documentaries.As a kind of nature documentaries,how can the story and structure of Arctic documentaries be arranged to attract viewers? This paper will start from the specific case analysis,and comb its overall narrative evolution and to meet the needs of the growing prosperity of the film and television market,the new changes in the Arctic documentary itself.The main research contents of this paper are as follows: firstly,reviewing the evolution of documentary definition,combing the development of Arctic documentary(part I);secondly,applying the main theories of classical narratology,Based on the qualitative analysis of the narrative text of the specific arctic documentary,this paper combs the main aspects of the narrative structure of the arctic documentary,and sums up the different narrative types of different works(second,third part;again,From the perspective of narratology,this paper expounds the documentary performance of the documentary of the Arctic theme in several main aspects.Taking the concrete works as an example,it discusses the trend and evolution of the narrative of the documentary on the subject of the Arctic,and analyses the causes of the documentary.Finally,on the basis of summing up the previous chapters,the paper summarizes the problems existing in the narrative of the arctic documentary film and its main performance.And put forward to the arctic theme documentary narrative development prospects of several reflections(fifth,six parts).
