When the Revolution of 1911 occurred, the public responded actively, but when the Second revolution happened, the public took the attitude of indifference. Just two years,but the people's reactions had such an enormous difference. As the saying goes:" A man rules the world who has the hearts of the populace." In modern social psychology, the hearts of people is the "psychological contract". Well, analysis the success or failure of the revolution from the point of psychological contract would be a workable solution.In this paper, the author wants to analysis the inherent contact between the Revolutionary propaganda and psychological changes from the perspective of the relationship between the social Revolutionary propaganda and psychological changes.The body of this paper is divided into five parts. In the first part, the author analyses the content of the Revolutionary propaganda and the process of the construction of the psychological contract between Revolutionary Party and people. In the second part, the author mainly inspects business, advanced intellectuals and ordinary people supported the Revolution of 1911. Analyzing that they have high expectations about the Revolution of 1911.In the third part, the author analyses after Nanjing Provisional Government established society didn't have great changes; Revolutionary Party didn't fulfill their promise, which made people feel disappointed. In the fourth part, the author analyses the indifference attitude of people when the Second revolution happened, people's attitude about he revolution from early disappointed to extremely disappointed. In the end, the author analyses from the Revolution of 1911 to the Second Revolution, the reason of psychological changes is the great psychological gap between hope and disappointment, and combined with the psychological contract theory to summarize the advantages and disadvantages of the Revolutionary propaganda.
