The pronunciation of Chinese is most important part in international Chinese education. If the basics of pronunciations in Chinese are not well, it will affect all the education of Chinese language.This paper is a case study about education on pronunciation in Chinese, based on the writer's experience during the classes.The writer organized classes with 22 ab initio Korean students in Yeon-gyeong Chinese Language Academy in Busan, Korea, from September 2010 to December 2010. It is mentioned that, during the course, most of the Korean students noticed that learning Chinese pronunciation is very difficult, hard and errors in pronunciations also usually occur.This paper is a case study through observation and records. Thus, every page had specified the status of the pronunciations in Chinese of all 22 students, analyzed the reason of the errors in pronunciations, and the end of every page had the effective educational solution. This thesis is done by carrying out the research in three sections; vowel, consonant, and intonation.Through the result of the research, the 22 ab initio students'most frequently occurring errors of pronunciations while learning the pronunciations in Chinese language were:(1) Vowel: labiodentals sounds f, The sound from the rearward of tongue tip zh,ch,sh,r(2) Consonant: monophthong o,e,u, diphthongou,uo,ue, assonant ian,uan,un.(3) Intonation: The 2nd tone, the 3rd tone, change in tone when "一" and "不" are read after one another, change in tone when the 3rd and 2nd tone are read after one anotherThis paper analyzed the major causes for errors in pronunciations based on the result of the research that are specified above, and imposed an effective solution for education, which is suitable for Korean students.
