Kungfu movie is carried one of the most national culture characters in China.It is not only play the important role all over the world at the film domain, but also influence international people understanding and learning Chinese Kungfu, as well as its culture. The core of the creative kungfu movies is the choreographic design and expression, whether analysis from the view of creation or aesthetics, it strongly connected the film arts with martial arts.The development of Chinese Kungfu movies started from the 1980s, but stopping in the middle of the road at present. Therefore, according to my personal experience and understanding of the Chinese kung fu movie, exploring the styles and evolution of the movement. In order to help providing a new research field and the way of development during its evolution.It is the significance of this research paper from practicing, thinking, accumulating and summarizing to the Kungfu movie, also the diversify exploration attempt as a martial arts athlete.Through the method of literature material, expert interview and case analysis, showing the following conclusions:1. Martial arts film as an important branch of Chinese cinema, during years of development and evolution has been formed a thorough system, diversity modality and affluent format in the film arts. However, at the beginning of the Kungfu movie spring up was not initiated by professional Kungfu actors, but the filmmakers which in terms of their own understanding, merge together Chinese traditional opera and acrobatics or other forms of arts to proceed the development of Kungfu. Therefore, at the primary stage of the martial arts movies did not closely associated with the professional martial arts, which were more related to the "action" movies. 2. Experienced in the primary stage of accumulation, martial arts movies discovered more and more by the professional people. It became the way to advocate and propagate the martial arts. It mainly based on the South Genre that entered the movies field and emerged professional martial arts filmmakers-Kung Fu actors, which the action movies became a real sense of "martial arts" movies. However, subsequent years of style evolution, South Genre Kungfu movies expressed modelization, and the actions showed staleness after a while. It was nearly decline until one day Bruce lee whom as a representative of the combat martial arts appeared, the martial arts movies flourished again. At the same time, Jackie chan's juggling style of actions was another new branch of martial arts movies which belongs to the category of action films as well. Those were the main styles of martial arts movies represented China by Hong Kong in the 1980s.3. When Kungfu became a mainstream of the film type, it fighting style effected by stories of the film, styles of the director favors, characteristics of the actors and the progress of technologies, Kungfu movies displayed diversity and characterization which also is the main traits of Chinese martial arts films.4. In the early 1980s, Jet Li's "Shaolin Temple" type of Chinese Kongfu became popular, large numbers of occupational Kungfu athletes from Chinese Mainland entered the film industry by the help of the national sports committee. As they assisted filming and acting, more and more professional martial arts athletes flowing into the field, which applied the grandiloquent style of North Gengre of martial arts gradually occupied in the film screen, and became the core of the martial arts movies. This not only helped to research the Kungfu's field and ideas, but also had strong guidance to the future development of martial arts.
