As a poet and translator, Mu Dan had achieved great shining compliment both in poetry and translation, " Mu Dan is the most distant explorers Chinese modern poetry, the most outstanding experimenters and most powerful enabler." As the most outstanding poet, we have been based on his poetry as the main research object; as an excellent translator, though the study of mu Dan's translation is many, but compared to the study of translation, the research in his translation appears weak. The study between Poetry creation and Mu Dan's translation seems also in a separate state, the researchers seldom combined Mu Dan's poetry creation with translation to discuses the mutual relationship. In this paper, I will do a research of Mu Dan's from three aspects:Mu Dan's life, poems and translation. And then point out that very few people discuss the mutual relationship on his poetry and translation. As far as Mu Dan who is poet and translator is concerned, it is obvious to find certain relation between them. Then I will give a trim to the general of Mu Dan's poetry which will pave the way to a better understanding of Mu Dan's translation From stylistic concept and text concept to elaborate his poetry and translation, which can help me get a better grasp about mu Dan's poetry concept. Finally to discuss the interaction between Mu Dan's poetry translation and creation from microcosmic, and then to analyze the interactive relationship between poetry creation by studying the influence of earlier poetry creation on poetry translation and the poetry's later creation. From this two aspects, we can see that they're seemly superlative, but in fact, they not only relate to each other but also influence each other deeply.
