A Study On Reference Structure Of Eye Glossary And The Metaphor System In Modern Chinese

This article is about the the monographic study of eye vocabulary system in modern Chinese. In this paper, the eye vocabulary system was eastabilshed by eight words composed, they are "yan", "mu", "jing", "mei", "jian", "kuang", "mou" and "Tong". Based on the Saussure's synchronic linguistics, we decribe the structure and alleged feature of eye vocabulary system in modern Chinese in detail, absorbing the combination of cognitive linguistics, metaphor science research results, reveal the eye Metaphorical vocabulary system, and explore the formation mechanism of the eye vocabulary system. The thesis can be divided into three parts: introduction, body and conclusion, five chapters in all.Chapter one is the introduction, which describes the the idea of topic selection and theoretical background , indicates the study method and study goals.Chapter two is mainly introduced the allegations structure of eye glossary in accordance with "Eye Glossary + noun", "noun + Eye Glossary", "Eye Glossary + adjective", "adjective + Eye Glossary", "Eye Glossary + verb", "verb + Eye Glossary", "quantifier + Eye Glossary", and measure words. And then the words are divided into "allegations of physical domain"," allegation of psychological domain", "allegations of functional domain", "allegations of physical domain", "allegations of time domain", "allegations of space domain " and "quantifier domain" of the seven categories, to reveals the feature of eye glossary in Modern Chinese.Chapter three is metaphor phenomenon of eye glossary in modern Chinese. This chapter discussed the metaphorical means and characters of eye glossary , which has greatly enriched the vocabulary of system of the eye.Chapter four is the metaphor system of eye glossary in modern Chinese. The essential of metaphor is to perceive and experience something in accord to another thing. Eye metaphor system is constituted by the projecting between different concepts. Revealing eye metaphor system enable us comprehensive the way of Human beings perceiving and expressing the objective world by means of eye metaphor.Chapter five is conclusion.
