A Study Of The Grammaticalization And Subjectivisation On The Parenthesis "Ju Shuo (据说)"

Under the guidance of combining diachronic and synchronic, static and dynamic, form and meaning, description and interpretation; using methods such as data survey, static description, period comparison and statistics to conduct a comprehensive and depth study of the parenthesis "ju shuo(据说)",hoping to observe fully, describe fully and explain fully, meanwhile hoping this study on" ju shuo(据说)"can provide a paradigm on parenthesis systematic research, as well as provide some help for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The full text mainly consists of the following six parts:The first part is a introduction by summarizing the current situation of the parenthesis" ju shuo(据说)",presenting contents, problems and objectives of this study, pointing out the relevant referenced theory, research methods and the corpus sources.The second part is on the syntactic analysis of "ju shuo(据说)"At first, it discusses the attributive question of "ju shuo(据说)",then displays this parenthesis in sentence-initial, sentence-medial and sentence-end three positions, finally analysis on the features that" ju shuo(据说)"in various sentences, mainly about the distributed orientations in the different sentences and the differences in the same sentences.The third part is about the grammaticalization of "ju shuo(据说)"First of all, it points out the relation between lexicalization and grammaticalization, then investigates the whole process of grammaticalization of "ju shuo(据说)"in diachronic lexicalization and grammaticalization stages. The final analysis is about the motive and mechanism of some areas as signs, metaphors, context, frequency of occurrences, reanalysis, disyllabic words and categorization.The fourth part concerns about the semantic features and subjectivisation of "ju shuo(据说)"First, it investigates that" ju shuo(据说)"as a parenthesis in the sentence, the semantic features which are mainly expressed not sure or do not believe, emphasizing the arguments of matters or views, and expressing surprise, sigh, satire, contempt or other subjective feelings. Then the analysis of subjectivisation process by three areas involved with transferring from the external to internal assessment, extending to the discourse, meta-language usage and the speaker's judgment continued to the content. The fifth part introduces the pragmatic functions of "ju shuo(据说)"Mainly from the additional language, discourse organization and coherence three aspects to analyzing language parenthesis in sentences and discourse functions.The sixth part is the conclusion. It summarizes the major views and opinions, and generalizes the law of the same kind parentheses.
