Since the Chinese education has been formally incorporated into the Thai national education system, the basic position of the primary school at Chinese language and culture education has become increasingly prominent.By means of questionnaires and interviews on the the heads of Chinese education and the Chinese teachers in the affiliated primary schools of Chiang Mai Government, we grasp the details of Chinese language and culture education in primary schools. And in view of the problems found in survey, we provide advices and solutions which take the experiences from the Chinese teachers as a reference.In accordance with the principles of relevance and suitability, this paper makes some discussion on Chinese language and culture education of the affiliated primary schools of Chiang Mai Government. And the discussion include four aspects which are how to standard the Chinese language and culture teaching, how to conduct the Chinese activities, how to develop the suitable Chinese teachers and how to make a quality assessment of Chinese language and culture education.
