Mimicry is a concept that describe someone who influenced by others, and then make his (or her) behavior similar or the same as others'. However, the extent that one imitates another varies from people to people that be imitated. And the sometime, there are many factors that influence mimicry, the attractiveness of people who be imitated is a important factor of them. We may easily find, in everyday life, that many people tend to imitate some attractive stars'apparel, hair style or behavior. People are more like attractive people, and tend to believe "what is beautiful is good", and judge, evaluate, and treat attractive people better than moderately unattractive or unattractive people.Van Leeuwen'study show that the attractive people was easily imitated by others than unattractive people. By using the same coloring procedure. In experiment 1, we examin the influence of neutral facial attractiveness on mimicry. And in experiment 2, the same procedure as experiment 1 was used to examine the effect of smile on mimicry through the changes of attractiveness. and the aim of experiment 3 was to examine the effects of vocal attractiveness on mimicry. Following are principal results and conclusions.(1) In the condition of neutral face, compared with people who have lower attractive face, people who with higher attractive face was more imitated by others.(2) In the condition of smile face, compared with people who with neutral face, people who with smile face was more imitated by others. (3) Compared with people who have lower vocal attractiveness, the work of people who with higher vocal attractiveness was not significant more imitated by others. but the result has the same tendency with hypothesis.To sum up, According to the results of three experiments, we can draw the conclusion that compared with lower attractive people, attractive people was more liked by others, and then was more imitated by others.
